Spring in the Door County wine business means wine tasting! Several Door County wine distributors hold tastings at area restaurants to showcase wines for the upcoming season. Tables and tables of wines to taste – some also bring interesting liquors and craft beers.

We’ve already gone to two this month, with two more to go – one tonight, another tomorrow. At Main Street Market, we look for new wines to add to our selection and fill gaps. We also taste wines we already sell – to remember why we liked a particular wine and its characteristics.

It’s a nasty job, but somebody has to do it! Sometimes this job is so difficult!
